July 1 – 31, 2006. This summer, Apple Core Hotels, a group of five moderately-priced, Midtown Manhattan hotels, will be offering relief to travelers burdened by record-breaking gas prices with an eco- and wallet-friendly value package.
With convenient locations within walking distance of many of Manhattan's must-see attractions, including Times Square, the Empire State Building and Central Park, Apple Core Hotels is offering additional incentives for visitors to leave their cars behind. The new "Leave the Car at Home" package includes:
- Complimentary breakfast
- Two full-day, unlimited-ride, “Fun Pass” Metro Cards
- Two round-trip AirTrain tickets for the John F. Kennedy Airport or two round-trip bus tickets for the La Guardia Airport

Terms and conditions:
Guests must purchase tickets themselves and present receipts to the front desk to receive credit to their credit card on file. Ticket rates are $7 per fun pass Metro Card (NYC Subway), $5 per Air Train ticket for John F. Kennedy Airport, $2 per ticket for La Guardia Airport bus. Only 2 fun passes and 2 AirTrain tickets to JFK or 2 round-trip bus tickets to LGA are allowed per package. Package is valid for stays between July 1 – 31, 2006. Package rates are $159.99 per night, exclusive of tax, based on double occupancy. Receipts cannot be exchanged for cash. All credits will be applied to the credit card on file.
