What is your cancellation policy?

You may cancel your reservation before 3pm EST 24 hours prior to your arrival date. If you do not cancel by this time, you will be charged for one night’s stay (room charge + taxes). To cancel your reservation call our Reservations Department at 800.567.7720 (toll free within U.S.A.) or +1 212.790.2710 (international), or cancel online at applecorehotels.com. Our Reservations Department is open 24/7. Please note: Reservations made via a 3rd party booking service (e.g. Booking.com, Venere, Easytobook) must be cancelled through that service, and cannot be cancelled by our Reservations Department.

Can I have packages/online purchases delivered to the hotel?

All Apple Core Hotels will accept packages for guests during their stay, but not before or after their stay. Any packages arriving before or after your stay will be not be accepted and marked "return to sender."

Previously, guests have used Amazon Lockers (delivery of Amazon purchases to secure Amazon lockers throughout New York City) and www.Shoprunner.com (provides free 2-day shipping from numerous popular retailers). If you choose to use either service, please make sure you have read and understand each company's terms of service, as Apple Core is not responsible for any problems arising from the use of either service.

Please note: Online sellers like Amazon aim to deliver packages as soon as possible, often before a scheduled delivery date. We therefore strongly encourage you to place online orders after checking in at your hotel, and to select a delivery option which ensures the package arrives during your stay. Apple Core Hotels is not liable for any damages as a result this policy.

Can I reserve a room or request a rate quote via email?

Must I use a valid credit card to make a reservation?

Do your hotels offer courtesy airport transportation?

No. However, there are numerous shuttle services operating between Manhattan and all major surrounding airports. While you are encouraged to research and find the company right for you, below are a few services suggested by previous customers:

What are your check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is 3pm EST and check-out is 12pm, noon, EST. If you plan to check in late, please inform the hotel as a courtesy.

Is there a place for me to store my luggage if I arrive before my check-in time or check out early?

Yes. You may store your luggage at the front desk. Please note overnight luggage storage is not available at any of our hotels.

How do I book a reservation?

As of now, New York taxes are 14.75% + $3.50 occupancy charge ($5.50 for the 2-room suite) per night, per room. Taxes are subject to change without notice.

Are the rates in U.S. dollars?

Yes. All rates quoted for reservations are in U.S. dollars.

Is there an age requirement for making a reservation?

Yes. You must be 18 years or older to make a reservation and to check in.

Do children stay for free?

Yes. Children under the age of 13 years stay for free provided they share existing bedding. Please note, our hotels do not provide extra rollaway bedding and guests may not exceed maximum occupancy for each room type.

One individual may reserve up to 4 rooms, but must reserve each room individually. How do I receive a reservation confirmation on my mobile phone?

Mobile confirmations are offered only for reservations made online via applecorehotels.com. When entering your customer information, please make sure to enter your mobile number and check the checkbox labeled "Check for confirmation text message sent to mobile number." For mobile numbers outside the U.S. and Canada, please remember to include your country code.

Do the rooms have private bathrooms?

Yes. All rooms have private bathrooms.

Are there safes in the rooms?

Yes. All rooms have in-room safes.

Do your hotels provide rollaway bedding (extra beds)?

No.

Is breakfast included in the rate?

Free continental breakfast from 6:30am to 10:00am is included in the rate.

Do your hotels have (wireless) Internet access (Wi-Fi, 802.11)?

Yes. All of our hotels have free wireless Internet access in guest rooms and public areas.

Do you offer free nationwide phone calls?

Yes, free nationwide calling within the U.S. only is available in our hotels.

Do your hotels offer courtesy airport transportation?

How many people can stay per room?

2 people may stay in a room with a Queen or King sized bed. 4 people may stay in any room with 2 beds, or in the 2-room suite.

Are your rooms non-smoking?

Apple Core Hotels offer both smoking and non-smoking rooms available upon request. The Broadway @ Times Square Hotel, however, is a completely smoke-free hotel. No smoking is permitted at the Broadway @ Times Square Hotel.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed.

Is there parking near the hotels?

There are reduced rate parking garages near each hotel. In order to receive a reduced rate, you must park at the garage, then present your ticket from the garage to a staff member at the front desk, who will then validate it which will ensure that you get the reduced rate upon leaving the garage. Please check each individual hotel's page for more information about the specific garages that offer a discount.

JFK (approx. 18mi/29km from midtown Manhattan)

Taxis:
Yellow cabs are available  at the airport. The flat fare from JFK Airport is currently $52.00 plus tolls and tips. Note that the meter should not be turned on and the night surcharge is not to be added. A tip is at the passenger's discretion, but is typically 10% of the fare.

For more detailed information on cab fares and your rights please refer to the New York Taxi and Limousine Commission.

Public Transit:
AirTrain from JFK to Jamaica Station (currently $5 per person)

At Jamaica Station, transfer to the blue E subway train in the direction of World Trade Center (currently $2.50 per person)

Buses:
Privately owned New York Airport Service Buses are a popular way to get to and from LaGuardia and JFK airports. They pick up from each airport every half hour and drop passengers at Grand Central Terminal on 42nd Street and Park Avenue. Fares are currently $27 round trip for JFK and $15 for one way. Tickets can be purchased online or at the airport bus stop (found outside every baggage claim) and at the office near Grand Central (on Park Avenue, between 41st and 42nd Street, under the green bridge). The trip takes approximately 40 minutes to an hour and a half, depending on traffic.

Car services:
If you are staying in a hotel that offers concierge service (nyma, the new york manhattan hotel; The Hotel @ Times Square; La Quinta Inn and Suites Manhattan), please contact the concierge who will be happy to assist you with a car reservation. If concierge service is not offered at your hotel, there are a number of car services operating in Manhattan that can be found on the Internet.

LaGuardia (approx. 10mi/16km from midtown Manhattan)

Taxis:
Yellow cabs are available at the airport. The fare from LaGuardia to any Apple Core Hotel is approximately $30 but can vary depending on traffic. Please note that this fare does not include tolls. A tip is at the passenger's discretion, but is typically 10% of the fare.

Public Transportation:
If you are going to the Broadway @ Times Square Hotel, the Hotel @ Times Square, La Quinta Inns & Suites Manhattan or the nyma: You may take the Q33 Bus to Roosevelt Avenue-Jackson Heights in Queens and then switch to the F train to Manhattan. If you are staying at the Broadway @ Times Square Hotel or the Hotel @ Times Square, get off at 47th Street and 6th Avenue (Rockafeller Center stop). If you are staying at the La Quinta Inns & Suites Manhattan or nyma, get off at 34th Street and 6th Avenue (Herald Square stop).

If you are going to the Ramada Inn: You may take the Q33 Bus to 74th and Broadway stop in Queens and then switch to the 7 train to Manhattan. Transfer to the downtown 6 train at 42nd Street-Grand Central, go one stop, and exit at 33rd Street and Park Avenue.

The Newark Airport Express Bus runs 365 days/year between the airport and 3 convenient locations in Manhattan (Grand Central Station, Bryant Park, and Port Authority Bus Terminal). The fare is approximately $16 one way, and $28 round trip. For more information, please visit www.panynj.gov.

Alternatively, NJTransit bus 62 runs regularly between Newark Airport and New York Penn Station. For scheduling and fee information, please visit www.njtransit.com. Do not forget to select "Bus only" under "Travel by," and the correct date on which you will be travelling.
